I would like to introduce Sherpak SuperMat Roof Mat of Sherpak Sports. The conclusion is It did it's job and kept the roof of my small SUV free from any scratches. But it is the same material you can buy to keep carpets from slipping. We used it for a 20+ hour round trip from Atlanta to the NC Outer Banks in 95+ degree weather and torrential downpours. It was a 5 hour drive and it stayed in place. i do think it's a little bit heavier duty. Sherpak Super Mat provides peace of mind with extra padding and grip.
