I bought these clips for my 2003 Chevy Venture, and they work just great for my Yakima car top carrier. Just make sure you match the make and model of your vehicle with the correct Q-Clips.

Yakima Q Clips make for good Fit on Toyota Prius
The custom Q clips made for a really good fit on my 05 Toyota Prius.
Only complaint is that these didn't come with the same feet as the Q124's that I have on the Rear. The feet on those are half cut so they fit in the rain gutter and are much easier to setup.

Does not fit on the 2002 - 2006 Honda CRV like it says it would in the description. And when returned, they took off a 20% restocking fee even though it was their false description.

the roof rack ofered for this seller doesn't match the product delivered , it was oferet a specific type of roof rack for a manufactor /model/ and year , and seller sent a generic model , I did send it back few week ago and still don't get my payment refund.

huge amount of storage, easy to mount with help not a one man job. have put it on both cars and also on rails of the pop-up camper(that had a yakima bike rack installed on roof of pop-up). big box so except a little more drag and wind noise but worth it when you need the added storage.have gone up and down the east coast with it and other long trips with out issues. locking system works well but take time to line up. the ability to open on both sides a great plus. we carry a foldable step stool in car so once mounted it is hard to pack with out it unless you are very tall or have running boards.amazon had a great price and yakima is a great company so if you need alot of storage i would get it in a heart beat.

First this thing is big, which is good. I looked at shorter cargo boxes but realized I would not be able to use them to transport my cross country ski's in (I'm a 6'1" and 230# and need long skis). However if you have a smaller SUV/hatchback it might get in the way of your rear door so be sure to measure. For the record I have an old 2000 passat wagon and it fits great (trunk opens fine and it doesn't stick out over the front of the roof at all), however again it might not be the best choice if you have a smallish CUV.

The two sided loading functionality it great. It can be slightly difficult to close the box, you have to kind of slam it a bit to make sure it latches. Other than that no complaints. It offers great cargo capacity. I have a newborn on the way and between the baby/car seat, the stroller, by dogs (in the hatchback area), luggage, portable crib, etc., there just wasn't going to be enough room in the car. Now a lot of that stuff can go up top, freeing up valuable car space.

One thing I would recommend getting is a lift for your garage to store the thing on as it is huge. Thule makes one Thule 571 Roof Mount Cargo Box Storage Lift. Another option is getting a Racor lift Racor PHL-1R Pro HeavyLift 4-by-4-Foot Cable-Lifted Storage Rack. I have both and they are excellent products (I use the Thule to store the cargo box and the Racor alternates between storing the lawnmower in winter and the snow-blower in summer). A word of warning with the lifts, you do need to find ceiling studs. If your garage ceiling studs are irregularly spaced, you will have to rig something out of additional boards/plywood to safely install it. Shouldn't be a problem on any recently built home, but might be if you have an older garage that was built a bit oddly.

excellent product, took all the luggage space and moved it outside. But beware, very largest box might be too long to allow your hatchback to open without scratching. my 2010 odyssey just barely fit by pushing and setting at the most forward position, but I still applied some rubber padding to the edge as it still just barely touches the tailgate when fully open. In other words, try it on before you buy, otherwise, you will damage your tailgate or just not be able to fully open the gate conveniently while trying to avoid scratches.

Excellent product
I drive to Oregon and back to Texas once each year. Last year I bought a Sears 9.00 car carries. It lasted only half the trip. This year I bought the Yakima 21. It looks good, installed easily on our Chrysler van and made the trip without a problem. A bit costly but worth the money.

Rack didn't fit as stated
I bought the Yakima Kingjoe 2 because the literature listed the 2006 Mazda 6 4 door sedan as a fit. They also stated that the rack would fit over "most spoilers", I guess this wasn't one of those. It sat right on the spoiler, any weight (bike) would have cracked the spoiler. Haven't been able to find a trunk rack yet that will fit the vehicle. Everyone seems to think roof racks are the only sure fit, but I didn't want to go that route.

Great bike rack
My car (a 2001 Ford Escort) is not listed in the instructions, but the trunk is similar in size to the Ford ZX2, so I used those measurements.

Installation was a bit of a hassle, but that was because my trunk would not shut once the rack was on. The hook on the left hand side was blocking the trunk from closing. After opening and then slamming down the trunk (with the rack attached), finally the trunk closed for good. The rack was secure.

I haven't put three bikes on the rack yet, but two weekends ago I did have two on there. The rack worked like a champ. I did not go on any major highways, but I was on some bumpy roads. No problems at all.

Last weekend I put my bike on the rack and drove on 83 (in Baltimore County) and the rack was fine.

My only con with this rack is that my girlfriend's bike frame does not fit the rack. Luckily she has a quick release tire and I can fit her bike in my back seat. Still though... that kind of defeats the whole purpose, but is something I should have checked on before purchasing the rack.

Perfect Fit for Honda 2010 Insight
The 2010 Honda Insight has a rear shape unlike any other car to date, and so, finding a rack that fit it well wasn't easy. This rack does! Also, it seems to be sturdily built and easily adjustable with BIG pads for the car's painted surfaces. When attached with all the straps, it's very firm and steady and it keeps the bikes away from the car's exterior paint. Soft but firm clamps to prevent marring the bike frames, and has support to keep the bikes vertical on the arms.

Does what it is supposed to do, well.
I really wanted to go with a roof rack option, so as to not limit myself to just toting a bike or 2 on the back of my car, but price to price - the rack system was out of the budget at the time being (around 0). I've only carried 1 bike on this rack so far and it is a road bike (light weight) - but the way the pads are on this unit help to spread the weight without denting the trunk. I have a 2009 Corolla S with Spoiler, and the curved arms when attached look as if it was designed for spoilers in mind. it fits perfectly. The rack stay stable, and doesn't shift or slide.

Pros:
*Assembles onto trunk in less than 15 minutes first time use.
*Reattaches to Trunk in less than 5 minutes every time after first.
*Folds down for storage.
*Padded rubber feet are broad and don't scratch.
*Metal clasps are covered with rubber so if you drop on car wont scratch.
*Metal hooks are coated so they don't scratch or rust.

Cons:
*Straps to secure bike to the rack are pull-tight rubber - which I can see over time wearing out and breaking.

Overall I'm satisfied, and haven't had any issues with this rack at all.

Best bike rack I have ever owned!
Having gone through many permutations of cars, I have owned 3-4 bike racks in my lifetime. This has been the best so far. It was EASY to put it on our Ford Escape. After some fussing with the straps, it attached quickly and easily. It took my about 20 minutes the first time, 10-15 the second time. And it was *solid*. I hated previous bike racks that would sway back and forth. Not this one. Loading the bikes on was easy. The bikes did not rub against one another, nor did a wheel/pedal scratch up my car. Great design....The arms that hold the bike fold up when not in use. Also could still open the hatch on the Ford Escape with the rack in place.
Lastly, our local bike store showed us that tying a knot in the straps below the buckle actually would prevent any slipping of the buckle. Also helps deals with any flapping straps. Also showed us to use some extra strap to tie TO the bike, as an extra measure.
Highly recommend this bike rack.
